The Ares is the flagship Reign boot, with a carbon composite shell and 3-D Recall Padding (heat moldable). Trinity frame mounting makes it easy to change and skate other wheel configurations if/when wanting (compatible with any trinity mount frame). A ‘hockey’ style boot that is enjoyed by urban skaters, as it is missing the hard-toe cap that tradiotionally comes with hockey skates.
TRINITY mounting has a winged mount under the ball of the foot that lowers the skate to provide stability, control, and power at push-off. EGO SL (Super Light) 3×100 frames are light, strong (extruded aluminum), and responsive. Powerslide Trident Dual-Density 100mm XGrip Wheels, Wicked ABEC9 Bearings, and One-Piece Axles.
The wheels are high-end but are best suited for indoor skating. They feel great outdoors, but may wear fairly quickly and it is recommended to replace with harder urethane afterward.
